Ousman Jallow, the skipper of both the national U-20 team and Raja FC of Morocco, has expressed his hearth felt appreciation to the fans for voting him for the fifth time in a row in the weekly draw of darling of the fans initiative.
In a telephone interview with Pointsport shortly after their game against ASS FC, which they won by a goal to nil, Ousman Jallow revealed that they have five more games to play in the league and a quarter finals match in the FA cup.
“I hope that we will do well in all the remaining games which would give me extra morale for the Canada Championship,” he said.
He disclosed that he is aware of the darling of the fans initiative as he has been receiving weekly information about it.
He challenged the fans and voters to also vote for the other players as he is not the only player in the team and he cannot be a good player without the full participations of other players in the team.
He finally urged the fans and the Gambian public to pray for them and in turn they will also give out all their best to uplift the Gambian flag in the forthcoming World Youth championships.
