Bakau United Suffer another Setback

Bakau United, on Wednesday, failed to register their second win in the first round of the GFA first division league.

Bakau United registered two draws and a win in nine matches giving them only five points.

They managed to beat the new comers, Seaview FC 2-0 two weeks ago and lost to Armed Forces 1-0 in Wednesday’s rescheduled match with James Jasseh netted the only goal.

The victory gave the Army boys 11 points in six matches and has three more matches to play. If they win all their remaining games, they would collect 20 points and would top the league table.

In another development Steve Biko registered their first victory on Wednesday against Hawks FC 1-0.

Meanwhile Armed Forces would return to action on Sunday April 29, 2007 against Real De Banjul at the Serekunda East Min Stadium.
