After the successful completion of the Zone II Volleyball Championship hosted in the country, the Gambia Volleyball Association is warming up for the 2006/2007 National Volleyball League in both Male and Female categories.

According to the President of Gambia Volleyball Association, Musa Caasa Taal, the league would kick off next Month and interested volleyball clubs can register with the Association.

He added that the registration fee is One Thousand Dalasis (D1000) per team and the dead line for registration is end of April.

Mr. Taal added that the just concluded Zone II championship has given the Gambia the opportunity to take part in major volleyball championships in the future.
