Alh. Dodou Capi Joof, Secretary General of the Gambia Athletics Association, has been re-elected unopposed as Treasurer of the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) in a forum held in Dakar recently.

Pointsport was reliably informed that Mr Dodou Joof was the only candidate elected unopposed during the Dakar meeting.

However, in another development, Mr Joof together with Mr Fred Lloyd Evans, President of the Gambia Athletics Association, were nominated as members of the Finance and Development Committee of the African Athletics Confederation.
