Pierre Bah, 43 an  APRC youth leader in Niani Constituency, has been appointed as the new Chief of Niani District effective May 5th.He succeeds  Alh Malick Ndow, who died  a month ago.

Speaking to the Daily Observer,Chief Bah expressed delight at his appointment and thanked  President Jammeh  for the trust and confidence bestowed on  him and  promised to  live up to expectation.

Chief Bah was quick to denounce tribalism and advised the people of Niani to desist from it and unite for the interest of the District. He called on his people to continue supporting President Jammeh and the APRC party continued peace and development.
