Foreign Bureau Association Patronizes U-20

As a show of magnanimity, the Association of Licensed Foreign Exchange Bureaus in The Gambia yesterday presented a cheque for D75, 000 to the Gambia U-20 squad as part of their contribution towards the road to Operation Canada Campaign. 

In a brief speech at the presentation ceremony held at the office of the Secretary of State for Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs, a member of the association Mr. Omar Gibril, said that they are proud to be associated with the U20,  adding that they will always continue to patronize the squad in their own modest way.

Receiving the cheque the Secy for Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs Hon. Sheikh Omar Faye thanked the donors for the magnanimous gesture.

He said: “It is very touching that you are here this morning to present this cheque. So on behalf of His Excellency the President Dr Alhagie Yahya AJJ Jammeh who is the Chief patron of Gambia Football Association, (GFA) I would like to whole-heartedly thank your association for positively responding to our call for support.”

Also speaking at the ceremony Mass Axi Gai, the second Vice President of GFA commended the association for kind gesture and urged others to follow suit.

Some executive  members of the Association namely; Momodou Jagana, CEO J-Fin Money Transfer; Mamour Jobe, CEO MJ Financial Services , and  Omar Cham CEO of  Cham & Associates Foreign Exchange Bureau  graced the occasion.
