A senior ex- Customs officer in the person of Ousman Jobe was recently in court for violating the Highway Code.
Jobe was charged with the alleged offence of violating section 3(1&2) of the Third Party Insurance Act, Cap.70.04, Vol. III. He was alleged to have permitted one Masawo Touray drive his [Jobe] vehicle without satisfying the insurance requirements.
He denied the allegations when the charge sheet was read to him and was subsequently cautioned and discharged.
