Kinteh attends Caf Assembly

The President of The Gambia Football Association, Seedy Kinteh, is currently in Accra, Ghana, where he joins other delegates for the General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Kinteh is accompanied to Ghana by Abdou Salaam Jammeh, CAF development officer who doubles as acting secretary general of The Gambia Football Association.

The assembly to be chaired by CAF President, Issa Hayatou, will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre just few hours before the grand kick off of the 26th edition of the African Nations Cup finals.

The assembly is expected to dilate on pertinent issues including the progress report on Angola 2010 Nations Cup finals as well as the report by the Inspection Team regarding climatic conditions in Angola especially in February, where some parts experience heavy rainfall, among others.
