Representatives of political parties, security forces and journalists will today converge at the Corinthia Hotel to discuss and iron out critical issues of mutual concern in respect of the Local Government Elections (LGE) scheduled for January 24, 2008.

The one-day seminar organised by the National Council for Civic Education aims to bring together key stakeholders to discuss and iron out critical issues of mutual concern and to increase awareness among the stakeholders.

The forum will as well reinforce the understanding of the rules surrounding elections so as to have free, fair and peaceful local government elections .
