Kemo Sarjo and Ebrima Bah were on Monday paraded at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court where charges of conspiracy and stealing were pressed against them.

Kemo, 50, and Ebrima, 32, were charged with conspiring, in September of last year, to commit a felony-stealing-in Amdalai village in Kombo East.

The duo was also charged for being found in receipt of two heads of cattle in the knowledge or having reason to believe that the animals had been stolen.  The cows, property of one Abdoulie Kujabi, were recovered in Marakisa village in Kombo Central.

Trial proceedings will begin on 11 March following the suspects’ denial of guilt.
