Alleged Robbers to Appear in Court

For allegedly robbing Susan Smith of Kanifing South with violence, one Tony Senghore and Modou Lamin Secka will be appearing in court later this month for trial proceedings.

The duo has been charged with robbing Susan with force, occasioning actual bodily harm. The alleged robbery happened on 18 August 2007 in Kanifing, but when the charge was read out to the suspects they maintained their innocence.

In another story, Tony was separately charged with breaking into the store of one Amie Mbye with intent to commit a felony therein-to wit-stealing.

He denies the allegations and would undergo trial soon.
