Division One league resumes today

The Gambia Division One league will enter its Week Five stage today with three thrilling encounters at hand.

Hawks and Bakau United, as well as Division One returnees, Interior FC, will all hope to earn their first win of the season when they take on their respective opponents today.

Hawks, who currently lie at eleventh position with only two points, will battle it out with Sait Matty at the Independence Stadium.

Interior will square up against defending league champions, Real de Banjul, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium, while Ports Authority face Bakau United at the East Mini-stadium.

On Thursday, the current league leaders, Armed Forces, will face Wallidan as they hope to tighten their grip on the lead.

The current second best on the table, Samger, will entertain Gamtel on the same day at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
