Four Uncle Sam Security Company guards will now go to trial after being charged with stealing the very thing that they were entrusted to safeguard.

Buba Ceesay, Sarjo Danso, Lamin Baldeh and Lamin Jarju were lately charged with stealing a truck-full of basalt in December of last year at the Al-Kharafi Construction camp in Yundum. The basalt, property of Al-Kharafi Construction, was valued at D29, 000.

The quartet denied the allegation and would undergo trial soon.
