Gamtel coach Alhaji Sillah has criticised Serre Kunda West Mini-stadium for being too windy to allow a team to maintain ball possession and play credible football.
The former national team coach was reacting to his side’s goalless draw against Interior FC on Wednesday. The draw saw the last season’s league runners up fetch only two points from two fixtures, and in contrast, it was Interior’s third successive draws.
Coach Sillah admitted his were not in good shape, but revealed the wind was also factor that made the game difficult for them.
“I’m not trying to criticise but Serrekunda West is too windy and to maintain possession and play credible football is difficult. Though we were not as good as we should be,” he said.
