New chief for Jarra Central

Reliable sources reaching the Daily Observer have disclosed that Alhagie Bakary Jali Dampha, a native of Japineh village has been appointed chief of Jarra Central district.

According to sources, Haruna Sabally, who has been chief of the district for about 30 years has been retired.

Alhagie Bakary Jali Dampha, a retired police officer has served as station officer at almost all the police stations  in the country. He retired at the rank of inspector.
