As Assaulted Briton Remains in Hospital
Olutunde Samson Agibola, alias West, the co-suspect in the attack on Ms. Sue Baxter, a British national, continues to elude arrest after over two weeks. His partner in the alleged crime, Newton Nefe, is reported to have been arrested and charged with robbery with violence and causing bodily harm, and is currently remanded at Mile 2 prison.
Ms. Sue Baxter, was said to have been assailed by the culprits in Sukuta and beaten to a state of unconsciousness.
Reliable sources informed The Point around 22:00 hrs on the fateful day that the two jumped over the fence into the lady’s compound and put off the generator. When the lady came out of the house to see what went wrong with the generator, the suspects seized and tied her before beating her up to coma.
The sources added that the neighbours, alerted by her screams, came to her rescue and captured one of the suspects, before Mr. Agibola, the other suspect, managed to escape.
Mr. Agibola is said to have the name Olu Sola Femi Shoanya on his Alien ID card, a name that turned out to be false.
