Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the Banjul City Council hall BCC, the Secretary General of the Banjul Sports Committee Mr. Ebou Faye, said that the gesture would help the committee in the development and promotion of football in Banjul.

He commended Gamcel for their contribution towards the development of sports particularly in Banjul.

In his remarks Landing Sanyang, an executive member of the Committee, said that Gamcel has donated jerseys and t. shirts to Banjul zonal team in previous years and called on companies and donors to emulate Gamcel.

Mr. Lamin Gassama a representative from Gamcel, said that the gesture was part of their contribution towards the development of football in The Gambia.
