After leading Wallidan to a record seventeenth domestic league title on Sunday, the Blue Boys head coach Foday Bah insists their mission is not completed yet since the FA Cup trophy lies ahead.

In an interview with Observer Sports, coach Bah said, the FA Cup title is now their next target, noting that they want to win all the trophies this season after a three-year trophyless seasons.

“We want all the trophies this year. The league title is our cup and we have got it back. Now the FA Cup is our next target and we need this trophy before  we call it an accomplished mission,” he said.

Elated coach Bah also paid warm tribute to the club management for what he described as their unflinching support to the team.

“During the course of the season, we told our management that we need the cup, and they provided all we needed in making the dream a reality.”

“In the second round, we used to camp at the Friendship Hostel during every league game and I am happy that the price had paid off.”

Wallidan clinched the crown by beating local rivals Hawks 3-1 in a nail-biting finale to the most thrilling Gambian title battle in years.

Pushed to the wire by Hawks and Samger, the Blue Boys claimed the first title of Foday Bah's reign by two points after fellow contenders Samger were held to a 1-1 draw Steve Biko in their final match.
