Bravo Muhammed Jah

Editor,

Please, allow me space to write and congratulate Mr Muhammed Jah, the proprietor of QuantumNet Company, for a job well done.

I was very elated when I read on your newspaper that the Department of State for Communication, Information and Information Technology has approved the fourth GSM company in The Gambia, owned by Muhammed Jah.  What a superb and a splendid idea to bring communication to our doorsteps?

Muhammed Jah is a technologist and a scrupulous businessman who is contributing immensely to the technological development in The Gambia; and with his unequalled concern for the technological development of the country, I have no doubt that he will put The Gambia in the limelight.

The onus lies on Gambians to support him to bridge the digital divide because technology bridges nations.

Therefore, I challenge Gambians in the diaspora and at home to emulate Muhammed Jah. He is unlike other Gambians who only work to undermine the peace of this country by writing untrue stories about The Gambia on the internet.

Bravo once again Mr Jah. May Allah the Almighty protect your business and the entire Gambia.
