A Star in the Making at Jallow’s Academy

Ousman Jatta is a player with great talent, skills and tactics on the ball. Ous was born and raised in Latrikunda Sabiji grew up as a footballer and was influenced by top European footballers.

He started playing football at a tender age in Bwiam and Latrikunda Sabiji. He started his football career with Bwiam United, Eagle stars in Latrikunda, and Nema United before moving to the Jallow’s Boys Academy.

Ous Jatta is a mid- player and at times play as a striker. He competed with teams like Nema United, Red Scorpions, in Bwiam, Tujereng and other top teams in Greater Banjul. According to Ous, “football is the reflection of my emotions with the diverse universe”.

Speaking to Pointsports, the academy manager, Sadar Jallow, said that Ous is an intelligent talent and determined mid- fielder that has the potential to play in any position in both the defense and attack. He said that, the player is good at shooting and dropping the ball into the net.” I like him and the way he plays the ball,” he said.

Jallow posited that the boy only needs encouragement and support so that he can be a good future player for The Gambia.
