Banjul Knockout Final Re-scheduled

The Banjul knockout final to be played between NYOGAN FC and Plumbi United has been rescheduled by the committee for this Sunday at the Banjul Mini Stadium.

It will be recalled that last Saturday these two teams played out a goalless match last weekend.

According to the Secretary General of the Banjul sport committee, Mr. Ebou Faye, the match will commences at 4.30pm.

In another development the league final will be played on Saturday the 29thof November 2008 at the same venue between Plumbi United and Green House.

Mr Faye also revealed that during the league final the committee will present various awards to deserving individual players sponsored by Jollof Tutors ranging from best player of the year, most outstanding young player, most discipline player, top goal scorer of the league and Fila Yombeh best coach.

He noted that both finals are expected to be graced by high profile sports authorities in the country.
