The protracted 2008 volleyball knockout championship is
finally set for
This final, as usual, will be the last volleyball competition on the annual volleyball calendar. Jeshwang, who won the 2008 league in an extravagant style with 21 points, won the league, which precluded the knockout.
According to the lofty president of The Gambia Volleyball Association, Mr. Musa Cassa Taal, the volleyball knockout championship is delayed because of financial constraints.
However Mr. Taal was quick to add that, the tournament and Naconf have nothing to relate. But GVBA only provides the necessary technical back up to the volleyball team of Naconf. Moreover it will be recalled that the GVBA recently ended a referees course.
