Banjul Man in CourtMonday, March 02, 2009
Sally Jammeh on Friday 27th February 2009 dragged one Abdoulie Faal of Dobson Street in Banjul , the defendant, before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court presided over by Magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh. The plaintiff, Sally Jammeh, is claiming from the defendant Abdoulie Faal for the recovery of the sum of D3,250. According to the claim, the plaintiff gave her vehicle to the defendant who went with the said vehicle to Senegal for one week. The claim further added that the vehicle had a break down the defendant refused to repair or pay the cost. Despite several demands by the plaintiff to recover the said money from the defendant it proved futile. When the claim was read to the defendant in the language he claimed to understand he vehemently denied the claim. The case was at length adjourned until 23rd March 2009 . Author: Sainey MK Marenah
