As part of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Africa Cricket Council (ACA) centenary celebration for The Gambia, The Gambia Cricket Association will today commence its coaching clinic in line with its rural development programme and efforts to decentralise cricket in the country.
The training which will be conducted in two phases, will feature Western Region and North Bank Region.
Today’s opening in Western Region will take place at the Regional Education Office in Brikama. The course runs till the 27th of March.

The second phase of the project with North Bank Region will run 31st March to 3rd April featuring teachers and students from the region.
“An awareness HIV/AIDS match featuring The Gambia U-13 and U-19 cricket teams will take place on the 4th of April to mark the end of the ICC centenary celebration for The Gambia”, the cricket prexy pointed out.
