FIFA advanced training course for Gambia football coaches

A week-long advanced coaching course for Gambia football coaches will get underway today at the National Technical Training Centre at Yundum.

Jointly organised by the world football’s governing body (FIFA) and the Gambia Football Association, the training course will gather 30 football coaches selected from both premier and second tier clubs.

FIFA instructor, South African Urban Dekock will be available to direct the training that is part of FIFA’s efforts to develop the trade of football in the continent. The secretary of state for Youth and Sports and the first vice-president of the Gambia Football Association, Mr Sheriff Gomez and Major-General Langtombong Tamba respectively, are among of scores of expected dignitaries that will grace today’s opening ceremony the first FIFA Goal Project situated at Yundum.
