The Coca-Cola FIFA World Cup trophy which began its longest journey to all the African countries with the exception of Sudan arrived at the Banjul International Airport on Wednesday night for a three day visit.

The most celebrated trophy in human history landed at the Banjul International Airport last night under the watchful eyes of Gambian football fraternity who all went to the Airport in their large numbers to avail themselves the opportunity to have a close view of the authentic World Cup trophy.
The trophy proceeded to the Gambian leader at the nation’s highest office in State House who is expected to unveil it to the rest of the Gambians for public viewing later in the day.
