Amadou Jarra, a Malian who allegedly murdered two women in Kerewan, North Bank Region (NBR), was yesterday returned to the State Central Prison (Mile 2).

This was after he had appeared before Justice Moses Richard at the Special Court in the High Court, Banjul. Justice Richard ordered the master of the High Court to provide the accused with legal representation. The accused is said to have stabbed the two women, Nyimasata Ceesay and Kitty Fatty, with a knife on March 2009, leading to their death. The case was adjourned to 6th April 2009.
