Two Senegalese comedians, Alhagie Bah and Cheikh Niass are currently in the Gambia resident at Serrekunda in Juwara Kunda.

Their mission in the country is to help make programmes, advertisements and perform comedian shows as well as enlighten people about culture.
In an interview with the Daily Observer on Tuesday at the Observer offices in Bakau, Alhagie Bah who has been with the famous Senegalese drama group, Darai Koch said they are trying to go around schools to teach children about drama as it is a way of economic earning.

He thanked Professor Alhagie Yahya Jammeh, the Gambian leader for the unprecedented developments registered over the years describing him as a true pan-Africanist. He also admired the peaceful nature of The Gambia with her hospitable people. He then prayed to Allah to guide the country’s leadership, the people and the rest of humanity.

The ex-Darai Koch actor then urged Gambians to join him to act drama. He then used the opportunity to call on the people with advertisements to come over as they are in the country to help.
