Two Drivers to Know Their Fate Soon

Bundung Magistrates’ court presided over by B.O. Jobe will on Tuesday 17th March 2009 pass sentence on Alieu Drammeh and Kalifa Gibba for obstructing public traffic and careless driving which are contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.

The two were found guilty of the offence after a lengthy trial. According to the sheet read before the court, on the 13th January 2009 Alieu Drammeh parked his vehicle along Tabokoto – Abuko highway.

As he got into his compound, the 2nd accused Kalifa Gibba who was driving along the road with vehicle number BJL 2983D recklessly knocked the stationary vehicle and as a result caused serious damage to the 1st accused’s vehicle. The matter was reported to the Serrekunda police station and the scene was visited.
