WODD Gives Loan To Women GroupsWednesday, September 30, 2009 Women for Democracy and Development (WODD) recently presented loan to two Women Groups in Speaking to this reporter shortly after the presentation ceremony, the Secretary-General of WODD, Mrs. Amie Sillah, said the loan given to the two groups is part of their efforts towards the improvement and empowerment of the Gambian women. She reaffirmed his organisation’s willingness in helping women groups in the country, particularly, within the Speaking on behalf of the Churchill’s According to her, they would use the loan for tie and dye, and to open a bank account. Madam Touray hailed WODD for their support in promoting the welfare of women in the country. According to her, since the inception of the association they have made some significant improvements, including training of its members.
