The Gambia Football Association is currently preparing another National U-20 team to represent the Gambia in the Zone II National Olympic Committee [ZANOCA] Games to be held in Bamako, Mali.

According to the President of the Gambia Football Association, Seedy Kinteh, the organisers first requested for an U-17 team to take part in the games but later changed it to U-20.

He added that they would not use the present U-20 team in the Bamako Games as they are preparing for the African Youth Championship in Congo next year.
