Bakau zonal team will journey to Brikama today for one of the keenly-anticipated semi-final fixtures against Brikama at the Box Bar Mini-stadium.

Today’s match has been described by pundits as a lucid litmus test for the Bakau side despite Brikama being an under-dog in their face. Bakau are eyeing for their forth zonal title while Brikama are still avid to land their maiden.

However, Bakau’s past-good record over Brikama, cannot make one to underrate the up-and-coming Western Region side who proceeded to the semi-final stage with a hundred percent record after deservingly winning all their three matches with promising scores.
Brikama scored the highest number of goals (8 goals) and conceded the least (1 goal) in this year’s championship, an excellent start that arguably made them voted one of the best sides in this year’s tournament.
