Real de Banjul will lock horns with newcomers Sait Matty FC in first match of the GFA First Division League today at Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
Today fixture came on the heels of a super cup final played last week between GPA and Hawks, in which the former won on post-match spot kick.
Tomorrow’s fixture will see the Banjul giants, Wallidan host another newcomers, Sea View at Banjul Mini-stadium.
Just like last season, this year’s season will arguably be a fitness tourney where teams will be forced to play twice a week in a bid to fast-track the league season ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.
This season’s league matches will be played in four different venues-Serrekunda East, Serrekunda West and Banjul Mini-stadium and Independence Stadium, Bakau.
