Bakau United have ended their winless run in the 2007 league season with an emphatic 2-0 win over their neighbours Sea View in a fiercely encounter played yesterday at Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

A goal in each half, one of them emanating from a spot-kick, fetched the 2005 FA Cup Champions a deserved maiden win in eight matches.

The victory saw Bakau United levelled with Steve Biko at bottom table on 5 points apiece.
