In Lama Lama Bar’s judgment court issues ultimatum to defendant Monday, May 07, 2007 Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on Thursday gave a three- month ultimatum to Baba Keita, former Manager of Lama Lama Bar and Restaurant to pay to the plaintiff, Brian Peters, D44, 000 within three months or go to prison. Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh made this order after Mr. Keita informed the court that he has made an advance payment of D6000 to the court, in a bid to honour the court judgment delivered on Wednesday. ‘Mr. Keita must compensate the plaintiff, Brian Peters D50, 000’, he ruled. Magistrate Jammeh warned the defendant Mr. Keita that if he fails to pay the said sum within the three month period, he will be ordered to pay the whole sum within short period or be sent to jail.
