Wallidan and Real de Banjul last night played a toe-to-toe 1-1 draw match in their Week Six rescheduled fixture at the Independence Stadium, Bakau.
Wallidan came from behind to level terms with their arch rivals in a fascinating encounter marred by string of scoring chances from both sides.
Mbemba Colley gave the league champions an early lead in the 25th minutes after converting a spot-kick, but Sainey Touray, commonly known as Ballack, dashed Real de Banjul’s hopes of breaking the jinx, when he put his side on level terms just ten minutes to the stoppage time.
Week Seven fixtures will resume tomorrow with Hawks taking on current leaders Samger at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
The same Wednesday will see Armed Forces square up against Sait Matty at the Independence Stadium, while Baka United face Real de Banjul at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
