The two winners of The Gambia’s booming GSM company, are Mr Mohamed Mahanera and Mohamed Basir Ceesay. Mrs Fatim Badjie, Communication Officer of the company, spoke at length on the aims and obsjectives of the GSM company in The Gambia. Acording to her, the opening of the new showroom in Banjul will greatly reduce burden on people living around Banjul and Barra.

The new office will contribute a lot in shaping the company’s proximity approach. ‘‘Comium customers will go directly to the new showroom, instead of coming to the Head Office on Kairaba Avenue,” she added. The Communications Officer described the services of the company as second to none in the country. “The company is here to serve The Gambia and non-alike with cost effective and affordable services,” she explained.

Amadou Trawaley, Commercial Director of Comium, said the company intends to open a showroom, through out the length and breadth of the country. “We want to change the marketing system in the country. We will soon open a powerful digital service in the country in the very near future. Comium can be accessible throughout the country, even in the neighbouring country, Senegal and beyond’’, he said.

Mr Trawally spoke about his company’s desire to pave way for quality services in The Gambia and beyond. Mr Nyang Njies, Sales Manager of Comium also amplified previous speaker’s remarks on the desire of the company to provide quality and affordable GSM services to the people of The Gambia. The ceremony was attended by relatives of the two lucky winners, officials of the Comium company, and media practitioners.
