In their sustained efforts to provide an up-to -date first hand information to their readers, Football Digest, the Gambia’s most authoritative and only sports magazine, recently sent one of its key staffs to cover the African Nation Cup draw which was held on Friday 19 October at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana.

Adams W. Uwagbae,a photojournalist cum marketing officer at Football Digest was among a contingent of high profile journalists from around the globe to throng the West African state of Ghana to provide coverage for the event.

Speaking to this paper shortly after his returned to Banjul, the calm and urbane Football Digest photo journalist said he is delighted to be given the opportunity to attend and provide coverage for ‘this nail-biting sports showdown’, adding his office will continue to show no sign of slowing down in contributing its quota towards the promotion and development of sports in the Gambia.

He went on to thank Slok Air International for joining forces with Football Digest in making his trip to Ghana a total success.
