Fatou Kujabi, a recent grade 9 graduate of Pirang Basic Cycle School, Kombo East, Western Region, is seeking for financial assistance from the government,NGO’s, donor agencies and individual philantropists to enable her pursue her educationnal career at St. Joseph Senior Secondary School in Banjul.
She already got admission into grade 10 at the said school. The teenage girl who rushed into the Daily Observer’s offices has confirmed to the paper that, she has already paid her first term, but because her father died not long ago, her family is unable to settle her remaining tution fees, notably book bill which costs two thousand five hundred (D2500). She explained; "I took 3rd position in the whole of the Basic Cycle of the recent grade 9 results."
As a student with great ambition to acquire knowledge, Fatou Kujabi’ efforts to pursue her education might end up compromised, if she does’nt get any sponsorship.
