Major Musa Jammeh, a Principal Protection Officer to the President, passed away yesterday morning at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital following an illness.

His death follows the death last April of Captain Tumbul Tamba, another Principal Protection Officer to the President who also succumbed to what was believed to have been a debilitating illness.

The remains of the late Major Jammeh are expected to be interred today by 10a.m in Sukuta Village, Kombo North.
