One Muhamadou Sallah, 27, of 199 Tobacco Road, Banjul, has been arrested by the police and taken into custody for allegedly raping an insane 13-year-old girl (name withheld) in the early hours of yesterday.

The incident is said to have taken place in Banjul.

According to reports, Muhamadou Sallah allegedly took the young insane girl into his house and had carnal knowledge of her forcefully.

The victim, according to police sources, has since been taken to RVTH for examination.
