Daily Observer FC on Sunday drew 2-2 with Gambia Ports Authority in the on-going NISA Football Championship.
Observer open scoring in the 43rd minute through Ebrima Saidy before GPA cancelled the advantage in the 60th minutes. Kalifa Dicko put score to give Observer another lead but GPA fought back to level the scores again. Observer who earlier defeated Gamstar in the debut match now top Group E on 4 points.
Lamin Kujabi, an official of Observer team said his side will strive to lift the title this season as evident in their promising performance.
Elsewhere, Maerskline beat GRTS to book their first three points in Group B. It was GRTS’s second defeat in two games. Kombo Beach in the same Group got the better of Gampost with a 5-0 victory. Kombo Beach who earlier beat GRTS 5-0 now climbs to the top of Group B on 6 points.
Social Security in Group C lost 2-1 to MRC before Gambia Armed Forces in the same Group walked away with a 3-0 victory over KMC that saw them top Group C on 6 points.
Gambia Police Force, who earlier thrashed One-One 5-0 continue their good run with a 3-1 win over The Point Newspaper on Saturday.
Another thrilling scores over the weekend, was Immigration’s 3-0 victory over Atlantic Hotel in their Group A encounter played in Banjul.
