Monday, April 16, 2007
The Banjul youth, who recently went on an unholy expedition in a welding workshop on Wellington Street in Banjul, have embraced the warmth of justice.

Magistrate Kayeodi sentenced Darboe Lamin to eight months’ imprisonment after admitting guilt for breaking into a welding workshop on 15 March 2007, and stealing therein a DVD player valued at D2000 and 26 bottles of perfume valued at D1300. The items were the properties of one Sheikh Jobe.

Darboe was however left with an option of D5,000 court fine.

216 Jallow represented the IGP in the trial.
