GNL Presents Cheque for D76,000 to Lone Winner

The Gambia National Lottery (GNL) last Friday presented a cheque for D76, 000 to one Damsa Bah, who hit the jackpot of the GNL’s recent draw.

The cheque was presented at a ceremony held at the GNL’s headquarters in Banjul.

In his speech on the occasion, the Marketing Manager of the GNL, Mr Fabakary Jammeh, spoke at length on the formation of the company.

He said the company was formed to create source of daily earning to people of the community as well as to create job opportunities for the youth across the country.

Mr. Jammeh also said his company has also been contributing to the education sector, which is the backbone of every Nation.

He advised the winners of the lottery to always make good use of their money.

Speaking earlier, Amadou Marenah, General Accountant of the GNL, said they are ready to work with all concerned citizens of this country and to contribute their quota in the development of the country.
“GNL is a partner in development in one way or the other,” he said.
