The trial of Kate Atori-West has been transferred to the Banjul High Court due to transportation difficulty.
It had been heard at the Brikama High Court. When the case resumed recently at the Brikama High Court before Justice Anin Yeboah, it was decided that the case should henceforth be heard at the Banjul High Court.
Mrs. Kate Atori-West has been standing trial for allegedly murdering her husband at Sanyang, Kombo South, with a pestle. Her lawyers as well as the state counsel were all present in court.
The case was then adjourned until 9th May 2007 for continuation at the Banjul High Court before the same Justice Anin Yeboah.
The accused Kate Atori West was thereafter taken back to the Mile Two Central Prisons.
