The Red Devils of Hawks has finally been renewed with victory last night by beating Gamtel in the week 13 of the ongoing GFA first division league.
After five consecutive defeats and a draw in their last six outings, Hawks came strongly last night by upsetting the telecommunications boys 2-0 at the Banjul Mini Stadium.
Yesterday’s victory gave Hawks 16 points together with Armed Forces, who shared the points with GPA 0-0 in a controversial game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
In the other game of week 13, the league leaders, Real De Banjul failed to increase their lead.
They were held to a goalless draw by struggling Africell/Sait Matty at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium.
