The Department of State for Tourism and Culture, and Local Government and Lands, has issued a stern warning that they will embark on a demolition exercise of all illegal structures situated in the tourism development area.

A press release from the DoSTC revealed that the department would like to inform the general public that a demolition exercise of all illegal structures situated in the Tourism Development Area (TDA) from Tanji to Kartong will be carried out starting July 30th 2007.

All persons who have not been allocated land in this area by the Department of State for Tourism and Culture, the lessee of the TDA, are therefore requested to report to the Department of State for Local Governments and Lands before the start of the exercise.
