Friday, August 17, 2007

The Management of the Banjul Mini Stadium (KG5) (Banjul City Council and Banjul Sports Committee) has signed an agreement with the Gambia Ports Authority F C, granting them permission to use the Banjul Mini Stadium for training purposes only.

Based on the common desire to work for the benefit of the community, both the Management of the Banjul Mini Stadium and the Gambia Ports Authority F C agreed to establish a co-operative arrangement for the mutual benefit of both parties in this respect:

The Gambia Ports Authority F C shall:

Provide D100, 000, 00 to the Management of the Mini Stadium and also provide a maximum of D50, 000, 00 yearly for the maintenance of the ground, which would enable the club to have a standard training ground to continue consolidating their success in the past two years by nurturing and producing the most exciting young players and to further dominate Gambian football.

The Management of the Banjul Mini Stadium (KG5) will on the other hand upgrade the standard of the ground to be the best in the country and ensure it reflects a worthy football ground for a capital.
