FIFA Development Officer Calls on Secy Faye Today

Mr. Sampon J. Kablan, FIFA development officer for West Africa, based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, who arrived in Banjul Yesterday for a weeklong official visit, would meet the Secretary of State for Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Omar Faye today at 14.00 in his office visit.

During the courtesy call, Mr. Kablan would update Secy Faal on the present status of FIFA projects in The Gambia.

Before meeting Secy Faye, FIFA Development Officer would have a tete-a-tete with GFA officials at the FA secretariat at the Independence Stadium.

Mr. Kablan would visit the FIFA Goal Project in Yundum and the proposed artificial turf site in Brikama on Friday morning before presiding over the official handing over of keys of the FIFA funded GFA Administrative Building in Kanifing South on Friday afternoon.

Mr. Kablan arrived on Gambian shores yesterday evening and had a meeting with GFA President, Seedy M.B. Kinteh.

FIFA development officer would face the press on Saturday August 25 at 11.00am at the GFA Secretariat before leaving Banjul on Sunday August 26 at 17.00 hours.
