An envoy of the Senegalese President, Abdoulie Wade, has delivered a special message to President Yahya Jammeh. The emissary, Professor Serigne Lamine Diop, special adviser to President Wade, told reporters that he was grateful for the audience granted him by the Gambian leader to deliver the message on behalf of President Wade.

Professor Diop, who did not disclose the content of the message to reporters, however hailed of the existing brotherly ties between the people of the two countries. He said it is important for leaders to jointly and regularly discuss and consult each other on matters affecting their peoples.

Prof. Diop was accompanied to State House by the Senegalese High Commissioner to The Gambia, Momadou Fall, and Pierre Kujabi alias Attepa, a renowned Senegalese architect.
